The new generation of models MFS6CZ/8C/9.9 CY(W) incorporated Electronic injection of Combustibe (EFI)for the first time in the category of 200 cc. As always, Tohatsu has paid special attention to the weight of its outboard engines, making each of these models are the lightest on the market in their respective categories.
Also the efficiency has been maintained to the maximum, using a 35% less fuel in all the ranges of rpm than the previous models. In all the tests performed with the new models managed a couple a 20% higher at the lower end of the RPM, which means better acceleration.

- As in other models Tohatsu, the port of washing has been relocated to the central section. Rinsing with fresh water is now easier than ever to an enhanced maintenance, without the need of special tools.
