That's why, when choosing a brand of boats rigid inflatable for our customers, we opted for Highfield. This brand was born in 2011, has become the main manufacturer of inflatable boats rigid inflatable with the structure of the hull in aluminium.
Why opt for the aluminum?
The aluminum has been for years the chosen material for boats of competition of high demand. This is due to its light weight, strength, easy to repair and total sealing. The aluminum, in short, brings big advantages:
- Durability
- Lower weight of the boat though the years pass (does not absorb water)
- More resistant to blows
- Higher residual value (100% recyclable)
- Great versatility and malleability, which allows a greater freedom in the design of structures.
The hulls of the boats made of aluminum are much more resistant than the ships of fibre or GRP. To an impact force mild or medium, aluminium doubles as a boat of fiber breaks.
In the case of inflatable boats, the ease of this material to adapt its shape is a great advantage for beaching the boat on the shore of the beach or dragging it across the same without suffering deformation or damage.
With the aluminum are achieved boats lighter, which contributes to its speed and makes that requires less engine power and, therefore, lower fuel consumption.
